Moor Beer 10th Anniversary Celebration

Bristol’s Moor Beer recently celebrated their 10th anniversary with a weekend of beer, food and entertainment. They were joined by several Bristol craft breweries, including their neighbors who together form the East Bristol Brewery Trail (Moor, Good Chemistry, Left Handed Giant, Dawkins and Arbor). And breweries from as far afield as Germany, Belgium, Italy and Spain brought beer to the event too… (more…)

4th Kidbrooke Beer Festival: In Review

SE London CAMRA has just wrapped up their 4th Kidbrooke Beer Festival, their most successful yet. They set new records for attendance and beer sales and now look forward to even bigger and better things in 2018. Mr Fueled by Beer rode the rails from Reading over to Kidbrooke to attend the Friday session and was impressed by the friendliness of the event, its smooth running, and the quality of the beer on offer… (more…)

40th Derby CAMRA City Charter Summer Beer Festival

Mr Fueled by Beer has it on good authority that one of the most fun summer beer festivals on CAMRA’s calendar is held each year in Derby’s city centre Market Place. When I saw that the Thursday entertainment is provided by an act called Shamus O’Blivion and the Megadeath Morris Men, that was all I needed to know – see you there… (more…)

4th Kidbrooke Beer Festival: A Preview

SE London CAMRA is getting ready to launch their fourth beer festival at Charlton Park Rugby Club this Thursday, 25 May. It runs until Saturday 27 May. Although this is a small festival, a quick scan of the beer list suggests careful thought has been given to quality over quantity. As such, this makes Kidbrooke a festival worthy of Mr Fueled by Beer’s attention. See you Friday… (more…)

17th Banbury Beer & Cider Festival 2017

Here’s an excellent opportunity for a Fueled by Beer field trip: North Oxfordshire CAMRA’s Banbury Beer & Cider Festival. This year it returns to its regular springtime slot: Thursday 4th through Saturday 6th May 2017. The theme will be Yorkshire, which allegedly has more breweries than any other county.
